Puppy Whelping Collars – Adjustable I.D. Sets

These adjustable whelping collars are designed for breeders who need a reliable way to identify puppies or kittens from birth through their first 8 weeks. Each animal gets a unique color that stays with them from day one until they go to their new home, making it easy to track feeding, weight gain, worming, shots, and other important care.

Available in two adjustable sizes and two styles, these collars are durable, comfortable, and made to grow with your litter.

Available Sizes

• Small: approx. 4"–8" (newborns and young pups/kittens)

• Large: approx. 8"–16" (older pups/kittens as they grow)

Both sizes are fully adjustable.

Matching Colors Between Sizes

Small and large sets match in color, so each animal can “grow into” the larger size without changing their assigned color. This is one of the most important features for breeders who track each animal individually.

No Duplicate Colors Within Sets

To prevent confusion in the litter:

• Sets of the same size (up to 3 sets) will all be different colors

• You will not receive duplicates unless you order more than 3 sets of the same size

• Colors are chosen by us based on what is in stock

This ensures every pup or kitten has a unique, easy‑to‑track color.

How to Measure Your Puppies or Kittens

To choose the correct size:

1. Use a soft measuring tape or a piece of string.

2. Measure around the neck, snug but not tight.

3. Add ½ inch for comfort and growth.

4. Choose the size where your measurement falls in the middle of the range.

General guideline:

• Most newborn puppies and kittens start in the 4"–8" size

• Many will move into the 8"–16" size as they grow

If in doubt, start with small and add a large set for later weeks.

You can choose sets of:

• 5 collars

• 10 collars

• 12 collars

Important: The buckles are not breakaway by default. Breakaway buckles are available as a custom order — contact me for details.

Color Information

• Colors and patterns vary based on current stock

• Colors may be similar but will not be identical within a set

• No order under 25 units will contain identical collars

• Requests for specific colors are considered custom orders

• If you do not order a custom set, colors will be chosen from what is available
